Re: A virtually speaking talk by Jason Isaacs

Actually I have done that but I was thinking that we could do something for him to cheer him up. I notice that a fan group did a cook book for a former Star Trek actor as a thank you.

Re: A virtually speaking talk by Jason Isaacs

I have finished watching the video and something struck me. Is there anything we can do to give something back to Jason for all his efforts over this horrendous time. He mentioned how hard a time he has been having yet he has donated his time to charity made videos and acted for causes he cares abou...

Re: A virtually speaking talk by Jason Isaacs

Still watching this. I am shocked he was bullied during his time at drama school by a tutor. That did not sound pleasent.

Re: The Theatre of War

Ahh the memories. It was quite intense. His first Theatre of War performance was like that from begining to end and over an hour.

By the way thank you for the screencaps Jason.

Helen I nearly posted a reminder of tonight on the forum I think it is on again soon though.

It just ended and Jason was still online listening to the wonderful chorus.

Re: The Theatre of War

So tonight I watched Jason and an incredibly talented choir perform Antigone in Ferguson, which was fantastic. Jason played King Creon of Thebes who forbides Antigone under the threat of death from burying her brother which she defies with devastating consequences for al involved. Jason in a black s...

Re: Thoughts On My Review's

I was also thinking about how precarious an actors life is. We seem to have entered an age when studios are after massive returns for their investments. This surely limits oportunities for actors I recall reading that it is the middle level of studio movie making that is in decline. This is the leve...

I was lost about the daughter as well. Was she a clone? or over a hundred years old kept young by the 'Vitamins' .

Re: Thoughts On My Review's

If I am being honest then; One film made me laugh when it should not have. One should have edited the last act One obviously ran out of money during production and the ending made no sense. One was 'Meh' as it was pretty daft. One would have been better if they had focused on his character more inst...

Re: Reviews

The last 30 minutes made me feel really uncomfortable. I do not think it helped that the actress who was 23 at the time of filming looked much younger. Like I mentioned there is a real quality chiller in there lost by an uncomfortable final act.

Thoughts On My Review's

I was just wondering; as I have done many reviews of Jason movie/TV and radio projects on the forum since I joined; I am very aware that in a couple of cases I have not really enjoyed certain movies in the manner of what was intended. Now as this is a public forum (at least to read) is it ok not to ...

Re: Hotel

The extras were all over the place. The one with Jason is was the most interesting as we had the director directly intereacting with the actors. Jason face when a script is mentioned (sort of your'e saying there is one!!!) are followed by; Julian Sands dancing with umbrella and then another where he...
