Re: Jason's British local elections appeal

No elections in Scotland, so not applicable here, although the rules will apply when the time comes. Jason is right that it has not been well publicised. There also seems to be age discrimination in what is acceptable ID e.g. an older person's free bus pass is acceptable, but not a student pass or s...

Re: Moving Pictures (Discworld) audio book

I love Discworld, and Amazon keeps offering me a free audiobook, so I might just get that one!

The Jason photos are great, but be careful scrolling further down in that link, or you may see things you wish you hadn't.

Re: Verona

I am interested to see from the link that the film is from the original Italian story that influenced Shakespeare (who did not invent the tale of Romeo & Juliet), and it's supposed to be a trilogy. Maybe parts 2 & 3 will only be made if part 1 is a success? Jason has always claimed he can't sing, an...

Re: Peter Pan...AAIIEE!

Peter Pan will probably show up over the holidays and seeing the recent article about Jason's work I have to say that Peter Pan is a masterpiece that has aged really well. I think a couple of things were resposible for the lack of box office. I gather the movie went way over budget and i wonder if ...

The Antarctic sounds amazing. You must be looking forward to it. I assume you fly somewhere first, then get the cruise ship?

Re: The northern lights

Lucky you, Thunder. I hope to see them one day - maybe a Norwegian coastal cruise which friends of mine did. They saw the Northern Lights after they were on their way back south, and had thought they would miss them. Occasionally they can be seen in parts of Scotland, but I have never seen them - us...

Those co-respondent shoes we saw him wearing in photos released before the film were also mercifully out of shot, as we hardly ever saw his feet.

Re: Projects

The Rain Horse was a short story by Poet Laureate Ted Hughes (written before he was Laureate), and the film is based on it. It's about 12 min long.
