Re: New pictures
I suspect it is in line with the character. If they did not want him looking so tired they would not have used the photo - or would have done a little photoshop magic! inmac - I love the avitar. Your dog's ears are so perky! Is he a min-pin? I just want to cuddle him (but don't I always?) I thought...

Someone should tell Mark. It looks as though Jason has anticipated the wittertainment audience!thunder wrote:

Re: New pictures
And looking very, very tired. I hope it's just the character (who has every reason to be droopy-eyed exhausted from lack of sleep).

It could have been worse. It might have been 'Cauldron' and 'penguin'. ;)

Re: Swedish television
Brottsplats means "crime scene" (That's the closest English expression I can think of). Brott = (Law)break, plats = place. :furthermore And that was the Swedish lesson for today (from a Norwegian person, so take it with a pinch of salt ;-) ) Fascinating. I must listen to that the next time I watch ...

Re: The Christmas Thread
Well, I was going to bury my head under the covers (or at least spend some time with the DVD collection, since I don't really celebrate Christmas and, being retired, it's not a particularly special holiday), but on Saturday when I was out giving the dog his evening walk he stepped on some broken gla...

Re: Satellite awards
There were a lot of good shows, with excellent casts, made last year (I wondered at the time how the various awards systems would divvy them up). It's a pity that here isn't a 'best adapted screenplay' for TV.

It's from the Radio Times article/interview for Case Histories earlier this year. I think the original scans may be on the CH threds.

Here's an even more effusive review of Case Histories, the DVD and of course, Jason's performance. http://blogcritics.org/video/article/dvd-review-case-histories-starring-jason/ Hooroo, Carole Very good review - though there are a lot of spoilers which might annoy some people who might be intereste...

Re: New Maximum Movie Mode video(s)
Oh, I've no doubt that she (JKR) utterly despised Lucius. She never gave him any redeeming features at all. The closest he gets to redemption is backing out of the fight at the end to search for his son ... but that's just self-interest at work. He doesn't (or maybe doesn't get the chance to) do an...

Re: WHAT HAPPENS TO THEIR DARK MARKS?
In the books, the Dark Mark is a 'brand' rather than a tattoo - and none of the marked Death Eaters seem surprised that they didn't disappear after Voldemort's first 'death' - the convicted DEs in Azkaban still have them, and Snape's discussion with Karkaroff suggests that they had faded. Of course ...
