Hey and welcome. I'm not sure if it meant nutty cookies, or just that we're all a bit nuts...either way is good (just bring your own epi pen if anaphalaxis is involved!). LN

Hello ladies (and I assume we are mostly ladies...)! I was pointed this way via Twitter by the lovely Chari910 and am amazed at the resources here - and real life emails to and from Jason himself *faints with delight*.

This is the first forum post I've ever done anywhere, usually preferring to enjoy other's contributions, but felt it polite to check in. I'm 41, married (no kids) and live in South East England. A fan of the man since The Patriot (although may well have seen him in other stuff like Taggart, Morse etc without realising) but due to inherent laziness manifesting as technophobia, and a career that takes up far too much lusting-time, I haven't really got into the true fan-scene.

Incidentally, having just finished reading Bring Up The Bodies by Hilary Mantel, sequel to Wolf Hall and the second in herTudor trilogy, it strikes me that Jason would make a wonderful Thomas Cromwell. I'll take 5% for that suggestion when someone picks up the option and acts on it...

See you all soon xx

Welcome Revanante! Glad you took the time to check us out. Yes, Lost Girls are special to Jason and vice versa
I've been a fan since that certain Colonel appeared in The Patriot as well. His wits and charm are the major factors, much more than his attractiveness.
We have a few Brit ladies who are major contributors when Jason's things are happening across the pond. hope you stick with us a while.

Welcome, revenante! The Patriot was the first introduction to Jason for many of us. The Colonel is still my favorite role. Enjoy yourself here.

Fictionalised life of Thomas Cromwell to be brought to TV in six-hour adaptation and expected to be broadcast in late 2013

MTA: Further googling brings this:

from wiki
In 2012 the BBC announced that it would be adapting Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies for BBC Two, with an expected broadcast date of late 2013.[15] On March 7, 2013, it was reported that Mark Rylance had been cast as Thomas Cromwell.

Welcome, Revenante! I was first lured by the lovely Lucius, then there was Hook. :adore I watched The Patriot much later, (although it seems to be repeated on British TV quite often nowadays), and so belatedly also admired the Colonel.

Hope you've been enjoying Case Histories? :D

Oh well, Mark Rylance is a jolly good actor. Never mind...
