God I love those clos up pics of his face. Makes me want to kiss the screen.

I have a Twitter account too (@mmrsmcclnt). I use to keep up with my LJ but twitter is easier to get you point across.

Short and sweet.

I know there are some twitter accounts that say they are not the real JI, but there is one Twitter account who hasn't made that claim yet (@jazisaacs). It makes me wonder if he started to tweet but never got into it. In one of his follwers, there's @curvyone69 (emma hewitt). But that one is silent too.

Yeah, I did, too. Not sure why. Beyond following headlines and one or two organizations of interest, a really nifty thing that tweets Bob Dylan's complete lyrics, line by line, every hour on the hour (for odd folks like me who are into that kind of thing), and ... (hiding behind my hands) ... the guilty pleasure of eavesdropping on Tom Felton's aimless rambling/tweeting (am old enough to be his mother, am obviously having a midlife crisis of brain-numbing proportions) ... I've yet to figure out the point of the whole Twitter thing.

Though I've gotten attacked by viruses multiple times through Facebook, so maybe Twitter can help avoid that?

I love a rant me and I have a Twitter account just for that reason, beats swearing at the news :D And doesn't Tom Felton seem to have a lot of time on his hands? He's never off!

LOL true... Tom Felton seems to be a lovely boy.
I like twitter because it's a good way to throw my nonsense (and keep up with news, mostly).

Same here. I caved a while ago and finally got an account. I tweet on occasion but mostly I like to follow my favorite Brit comedians, some design mags, and a few other people of interest. It's also a great place for news as it happens.

It took a while but it finally won me over.

Haven't really thought about twitter.

Between The Lost Girls and then several authors I follow, that seems to take up a great deal of time.
The trouble is some of the authors are dropping their message boards because people are getting so nasty when they post.
Their administrators are having to constantly delete out the bad stuff.
I so enjoy talking about books that to have it ruined is a shame.

I'm sorry to read that, GB. It is a shame to have your enjoyment ruined by self-centered people like that.
I sometimes forget how lucky we've been here!

Yes, this is an exceptional Board. This is the way it should be. With people respecting others viewpoints and having pleasant, interesting conversations.

My complements to all of you lovely ladies.

You're very kind, GB, but it's the members who make this place what it is.

We've been very fortunate.
