Order DVD from Spain

A fencing Jason Isaacs--in tights, no less!! Sorry--a historical drama concerning machinations and maneuverings in the court of Spain's Philip II, erstwhile husband to England's Queen Mary Tudor and dispatcher of the ill-fated Armada. Velvet and ruffed collars. Unfortunately, it appeared only sporadically in theatres, and is tough to find even on DVD.

But to get that smile...it doesn't matter if it's in english or spanish. That smile crosses language barriers!

Is it good to buy it, certainly? ;-)

I have the regular DVD (not Blu Ray), and it has extra material. There's deleted scenes and a behind the scenes documentary, production stills, trailer etc.

I went to order this, with the help of a friend who has studied Spanish, and it cost more for delivery than for the dvd.
Then I tried amazon's German site; it cost 45euros, or almost $73 CDN!
Sigh.

I think it was the most I have ever paid for shipping too. It arrived by courier... I must have forgotten to check if there were other options. At least I got it, and very quickly too. (it only took 2 days from Spain)

I guess that's what happens when I order DVDs late at night after 3 glasses of redwine
