Listen to the commentary while you watch, and both Damon and Greengrass have nice things to say about Jason.

Helen, you're right. I just finished watching the Feature with Commentary and the night scenes aren't as dark as in the theatre. It was much better.
Now that I had an easier time seeing the picture Jason's role seemed bigger than it did the first time I saw it.

They talked at length about how good Jason is with accents and also about his mustache. They said that the Special Forces advisor had the same mustache so Jason fit right in.
Jason did a good job. He seemed real.
