Yeah. But just once, just once it could be easy for us, so we don't have to drive hundreds of miles, or wait months to see a Jason film. [with the exception of the Harry Potter films, which open universally, including the Sea of Tranquility.]

Well, we still got Green Zone to look forward too... catching glimpses of him in it....

But this sounds like a really good film. Just a shame that its not getting a bigger promo to get a world wide release. Maybe, somehow, it would be so good that it might end up getting some type of award nomination or something. I don't know.

Just wish the man had bigger parts with more screen time. Talent is just wasting away.

We should form our own production company and just write our own films for him to star in. That way he'll always have the right role cause we've written it the way we wanted him to be.

When I win the lottery, that will be on my to-do list.

I agree with you there. While these smaller art house films give him greater creative latitude, it does make it that much harder for the rest of us to seem them.

Let's stay optimistic. Maybe they test it out on some film festivals before it get a theatrical release. That's usually the road independent films have to go. If it becomes a hit in festivals, the chance is there for a theatrical release. Patience is a virtue...

I was patient with La Conjura... very patient... and all I got to show for it is a spanish DVD bootleg.

I was even more patient with Good. Still can't understand how The Reader can show up in theaters in my town but Good got no where here.

I don't know. If this had been some years back, like during the time when The English Patient came out then I could feel more optimistic. Cause back then smaller budget (Indy- type) films ment something and still got awarded with top honors.

Now, the movie business seems more focused on bigger productions so they can get more buck for their bang.

Slumdog Millionaire was an indie film... and started out in film festivals. My expectations aren't that high, though.

It's a new film, with new possibilities. Let's wait and see before we start moaning about not being able to see it
