Yes, Kate. We all have our priorities in order!! :D

I posted the link in the description box of my Jackson Brodie video on YouTube too.

Thunder, can you post the link to the You tube video on here?
I signed the petition. Don't like giving away my address. But oh well, Case Histories is why I am on this forum in the first place!

Thanks, I miss making them, but I don't have that much time any longer. Thinking about making a petition vid of CH. I may have time this weekend.

Hi. So I noticed some of the tweets coming through my twitter feed, and while it's great, a lot of the ones I saw (okay, most of them) didn't have the BBC's twitter name attached. I've been rolling this thought around in my head and decided that I would throw it out here.

I would suggest that any future tweets perhaps have the @bbcone (or whichever part of the bbc that you are targeting), so that they can actually get the tweet. And if tweets are going out appealing to the BBC but there is no address to direct the tweet, then the BBC isn't going to see them. They will simply be out there- floating around in the ether. Wasn't CH on BBC One? If so, perhaps they are the ones to target (or if it's not BBC1 then whichever channel was the one that showed it as they are the ones picking up the shows):
https://twitter.com/bbcone

The BBC company is HUGE, so it might be worth it to specficially target the tv portion. And maybe a hashtag or two wouldn't be a bad idea (#SaveCaseHistories, # RenewCaseHistories, #wewantmorecasehistories, #yourebloodyidiotsbbc1fornotmakingmorecasehistories (hahaha! just kidding on the last one!)).

Just a thought to chew on for future tweets.

If the BBC has decided to shelve it, that's it. It took them 15 years to bring back Doctor Who. Maybe if we start the twitter campaign in 2028 ...

I'm weeping for CH and also for The Hour, a drama series set in the 1950's broadcasting world, starring the mercurial Ben Whishaw (he of the epic hair). Fie, BBC, fie. The British public are as fickle as our cousins across the Pond, it seems. If it ain't Strictly or EastEnders they are wayward in their viewing habits. A hundred thousand down here and there and we're all doomed!

Signed.

I have some bookworm friends who loved the books and fell in love with the show, too. I'll let them know about this (they'll be outraged, I assure you) and hopefully they'll sign as well.

I bet it would go a LONG way to getting MANY signatures if the cast and crew from CH ie: Jason, Amanda, Millie, etc plus other cast and film crew, people living in Edinburgh. Had all their friends /family in UK/Scotland to sign the petition...WE want to see it, and THEY want to have JOBS, it's a win-win scenario. Just like you can't go wrong when you do the right thing, you can't muck up TV when you put on quality entertainment, you can't loose-unless you put it against things like The TriWizard Cup...England VS Brazil (or whatever it was...) ~e

Well, only 123 people from all over the world has signed so far. I don't see it happening this way. :-|
