This sounds good. It will make you think. I hope they don't ruin it by dumbing it down.
Seems like Jason picked a winner.

Thanks, Kim
Sounds like it will be a great series. Fingers crossed it will be... I try not to get too excited, so I don't will be disappointed again, but I really hope.

Re: In Depth Plot Synopsis
You can see from that why Mr Isaacs picked this from the pack.
To Brit eyes it looks more like a version of Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes than Inception - and I suspect that it might play better in the UK for that reason - if it ever does get picked up and exported.
Fingers crossed.

After PG I don't want to get my hopes up. Still, it sounds very interesting.

Re: In Depth Plot Synopsis
Great synopsis - definitely sounds like a meaty part for our Jason. Something to sink his serious acting chops into!

I love the way they refer to the "Great Jason Isaacs"
But we knew that.

Re: In Depth Plot Synopsis
In my opinion, reading the info from all involved, this should make it to series...
Anxious to see the pilot

Re: In Depth Plot Synopsis
Not to be a naysayer, but this plot is too convoluted for the typical U.S. viewer. Anything that requires critical thinking skills. Fringe now has about 5 million viewers. The Event was put on hiatus for several months for low ratings. Flash Forward was canceled after about 15 episodes. Life on Mars barely made it one season here. Lost lost half of its viewers because it was too confusing. I pray that if it's picked up that NBC gives it half a chance.
Okay. Commence throwing bricks and bottles.

Re: In Depth Plot Synopsis
I see your point Helen. Didn't I say in a previous post that I hope they didn't dumb it down? A distinct possibility to get fans.
Still I hope it gets picked up. We need more shows with both entertainment and thinking values.
One more reality show and I think I'll go crazy.

Thanks Kim. It sounds very interesting. I've posted the link on the other board I frequent and on facebook to spread the word.
Whoa, that's enough sharing.

I don't know, I think they will pick it up for a series. Perhaps I'm being too optimistic but....

Re: In Depth Plot Synopsis
If the issues are basically psychological then I don't think it will scare US viewers too much. If it comes with a Sci-Fi angle- then it might. You just never know. Good acting will over come a lot of story issues (the reason Fringe and Lost are/were sucessful.) So even if the show has a fantasy sci-fi angle - if the acting and stories are good it will suceed (at least for a while.) Jason is a brilliant actor and with his being involved with Production I have positive vibe about this effort.
