This is a TV series about a police officer after a fatal car crash killed either his son or his wife. He lives in two realities. One where his son survived the accident, and one where his wife survived. He doesn't know which is the real one, and he doesn't want to know. It aired on NBC, and was cancelled after one season.

I'd be fine with a folder that lets us put in our thoughts and reviews on each episode individually. That way people that aren't caught up, aren't given spoilers, etc.

does anyone want a thread for our reviews? I recall seeing threads for each episode of Brotherhood.

On the other board, one review from a member: "fantastic acting" by Jason. This poster then went to the Jason thread and posted that she didn't know him except from HP. I fixed that with a couple of links. Image

Beth, when I posted that suggestion about a thread per episode I had overlooked this thread

Angel! Ahh...you beat me to it! :D

I just picked up this month's New Yorker and saw the review! It was a very good, thoughtful, well written review. Maybe it will get those who read the New Yorker curious and send them over to Thursday nights!

Lady Sekhmet, is it possible to give those of us without a New Yorker subscription the benefit of reading the whole article? :D

I feel like I'm selling fake purses on Canal Street. "I got your New Yorker reviews right here" *sidles up to Helen8 and opens trench coat with various magazines hanging off of the inside*

I can scan it and turn it into a PDF, then you can actually read it. :D

edit: I've tried to attach it as a PDF and as a JPG, but it doesn't like it. *booooo!* :bat

I think we have attachments disabled (in part to diminish bandwidth usage).
Copyright restrictions prevent us from posting the whole article, which is available at any public library (and many doctor's, dentist's, and gyms), but the abstract may be read here: http://www.newyorker.com/arts/critics/t ... n_nussbaum

I should have said that I tried to attach it in the PM for Helen8. I did not try to upload it to the website.

*cough*... If I could figure out how to do an upload of the pdf to the discussion board, I would...
BUT, I also was...err... chastised for copyright issues when it was thought I was trying to upload it to the site (rather than sending it via PM), so I would feel more comfortable if The Ladies From Above sanctioned me posting the whole review. I don't want to get in trouble with them, unless, of course, they are going to send Lucius, Hook or Tavy to give me a good talking to- then I'll just misbehave all over the place! ;-)

(But check your PM box)
