I ordered the third one yesterday, don't know when I'll get it, but it's worth the wait.

I really enjoyed One Good Turn. Have ordered When Will There Be Good news and can't wait to get it to listen to it to see if there is another continuation.

Jason does audio books very well.

I finished When Will There Be Good News yesterday. (I needed 5 attempts to get through the first disk, because I kept falling asleep  ). This starts a couple of years after One Good Turn ends. Yes, Jason does audio books very well... (It's not his fault hat I fell asleep). He's speaks a lot of Scottish accent in this too. :D

I actually liked the two first ones better... I think there were too many side plots in this, that I feel belong in another book. But that's just my personal opinion that no one needs to agree with.

Finally have a few spare shekels, so got round to looking these up. A note of caution to JI fans in the U.S.: the American editions of these audiobooks feature three different readers, none of them Jason Isaacs.
I did also discover this, though--The Prince and the Pauper, in an audiocassette/book set. I assume it's more than one cassette (though I question why not a CD); info on the page is a bit scanty. Curiously, I can't find that one on the UK Amazon site.

Wonder if they have an audiobook for Pleaading Guilty. Would love to hear him narrate that one. I can picture him as Mack Malloy when I read the book. :D

I have an old "Book On Tape" but it's read by Stacey Keach. And yes it is on tape not disc.

Thanks for the critique, Thunder. More Scottish accents by Jason, how wonderful. I too have to relisten to some chapters if I'm not concentrating properly.

Although like you, have also fallen asleep to Jason's voice. Which to me is the ultimate, if I can relax enough to fall asleep to someone's voice, they've got what it takes in my books.

I changed my mind about the audios, will stick to the printed books.

(I could listen to JI forever, but that gorgeous voice would distract me from my concentration on the story)

Weird, but "When will there be good news" is the only book available in Portuguese. So I thought it was the first book of the series
I prefer reading them in the original language anyway.
