::rofl

I'm a bit surprised though. I can't stand Annabeth's character. But, I guess that means she's doing her job.

I've always wondered about awards, whether for TV, movies or the stage. I was at the 1999 Helen Hayes awards in Washington, D.C., and was told by one of the insiders there that it was all just a popularity contest. People won or lost, I was told, depending on personal animosity, past bitterness, present adulation, and old grievances. Nominations and winners had nothing to do with true quality.

Being an outsider, I had no idea if this had any basis in truth. But having watched a few award shows since, I've come away thinking that either my taste in quality is completely different from those of the judges', or the gossip was true.

That Jason wasn't even nominated for Brotherhood?? ....oh, PLUHEASE!

Not that Annabeth Gish isn't damn good as Eileen. The entire cast is damn good. I wish it could win Best Ensemble.
