London Riots
The London riots are just horrible. I feel they are just the start of what will be a continuing problem throughout the world.
I don't know if these are any place near where Jason lives but does anyone know if he and his family have left for the states?
I would hate to think of them in danger. The riot may be in the poorer areas now but are bound to spread to the better areas.

I have wondered the same thing. Perhaps it's good that he will be spending some time in the States.
Re: London Riots
I believe he's already in L.A.
I hope all our Brit members are safe. Hope to hear from all of you soon.

Re: London Riots
The riots started in London and spread to Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool. Now I hear it's spread to Nottingham. I've been racking my brain trying to remember if we have any members in those cities. If there are, please check in and let us know if you are OK.

Re: London Riots
The 'rioters' are mainly looting and torching shops - so the main dangers are to those who live in town centres alongside (and over) shopping centres (they really are targeting their own communities).
This shouldn't affect residential areas. I believe that the Isaacs family have moved, but hope their neighbours (it's a bit of a Brit Actor enclave!) are OK.

Re: London Riots
Too true--just as stupid, counter-productive and horrifying as in the 60s and 70s. I know there's a lot to be indignant about but taking it out on your own nest (and your own neighbours) is sheer idiocy.(they really are targeting their own communities).
Re: London Riots
I think they look at it more like less distance to carry the loot than from the tonier neighborhoods. Just speculating.
