I don't know whether anyone has previously posted the 'history-spork' commentary on The Patriot - but it's a great look at the film's historical accuracy (and the occasional (um) appreciation of Jason):

I didn't like the music at all,sorry. It's a historical movie- a classical music (or a march) would fit better. But the scenes are nice, seen them so many times.

As there's not a lot happening here in The Land of the Lost Girls, I thought I might as well post this.

Last night I watched the most recent episode of Sleepy Hollow, which, "K", a poster on another board I frequent, described as:

... about Ichabod Crane being a spy for George Washington during the revolutionary war having a spell cast on him and the headless horseman, who is the 4th horseman of the apocalypse, putting them to sleep for 350 years...

While doing my leg-raises, , I jumped up, having overheard a familiar name. Apparently Ichabod's commanding officer during the revolution was one "Colonel Tarleton". This incarnation of the real-life man is much worse than Jason's; he is actually a demon.

This phenomenon, of finding Jason anywhere, is what I like to call, "Desperate for news."

Or maybe it's just 6 degrees of Jason.

And the actor in Sleepy Hollow seems to be doing a wonderful rendition of Jason as Tavington. Kinda resembles him, too.

Dang it. I've been watching Sleepy Hollow (and really enjoying it), but I often only come in on the last half, because I've been distracted during the first half by things I have to do for real life. So I've managed to miss most of the first-halves (and while it's a great show, it's not so deep that I can't figure out what happened in the first part). Ditto for this past Monday. I will have to go and watch it on-demand now, since I missed that reference. How fun! Thanks, fruitbat!!

Well, Tarleton managed to come out of the war smelling like roses, so I suspect Tavington would have too, if he'd managed to kill off Martin first. First rule for baddies: No long monologues about how you've won UNTIL AFTER you kill the good guy. Geesh.
