This interview (much more than an interview) is really good, with some beautiful B&W photos - although the photographer has in some cases made some rather odd choices! Not all those clothes suit Jason IMO, but some are very stylish.
I did not know James Purefoy is a mate.

I did not know either. Those photographs are staggeringly good and I have never heard the skateboarding story in full before. I think it is one of the better interviews he has given as he seemed playful and relaxed. Oh and very happy. Loved it.

The Paley interview was fascinating. It has never struck me how fast Jason talks. I was saddened to hear him tell the story of Jason's Dad being a five year old and the bailifs. I think I have worked out who the actor is that Emma mentioned she did not want in her doc as a talking head as he is a very self conscious man off screen. If it is who I think they are reffering to I have always felt that he always looks like he is one step away from a panic attack. Has anyone else seen this interview specifically in full yet?. I also found it fascinating how self deprecation (something very English to rave about yourself is such bad form in the UK), seemed to be perceived as something totally different in New York.

I watched the Paley panel yesterday, and it was very interesting to hear Jennifer Grants point of view, and Jeff Pope's as well. It was very interesting to see them all together, and to see that they don't understand it the same way either. Which may explain why we have been working so hard to figure it out.

That was new to me. I found in the interviews the statement that Whoopie Goldburg's Dad had put her mum in hospital shocking so that must be the 1950 / '1960's. Did anyone else think Jennifer seemed really uneasy about her Mum and Jason talking about her Dad.

I'm not so sure she was uneasy, because she has been involved in this for quite a bit. But she wasn't afraid to speak out when she disagreed, which is good, because we need her point of view too.
