Seperated at birth?

...Jareth? The resemblance is uncanny!

Sorry. I couldn't resist. Lucius is totally channeling Jareth. Hmm. Jason as Jareth... David Bowie's tight pants in Labyrinth were slightly creepy for some reason. But if it were Jason...

Yes, give me a few free hours and photoshop and i do junk like this. Sorry for random lame-ness.

Special thanks go to char/jasonisaacsphotoalbumsonline.com and judith/rattlebeak.com and oclumencia.com for some image credits. I did a few of my own caps.

Ah, the 80s!! :lol
Sprog claims that Bowie's strides scarred her for life too . . . but that was one of her favourite movies when she was younger.
Jennifer Connolly seems to have recovered nicely . . .

Labyrinth is trippy. I love it. I've been meaning to get the special edition dvd. I never see it in stores, but I don't get to places that specialize in movies so I never see it. This is where my addiction to Amazon.com comes in.

Connelly's done well for herself. She's one of the actress (with talent) I admire. She was young here so acting with the puppets probably didn't offer a lot emotional feedback.

I can't knock David Bowie too badly. I have <3's for him. The pants only bother me in that one scene. Rather it may be a combination of his entire costume. Tight pants/glam mullet/crazy eye makeup. But I'd trade places with Jen/Sarah any day.

I often wonder if Bowie had any input into the costume given he was heavily into the glam scene himself. I can't fault him though. The kids might have found some of the puppets scary, so the camp does add a little relief.

BTW, I think Bowie's a great actor. I really loved his performance in "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence."

... written by Ryuichi Sakamoto, who also turned in a marvelous performance as one of the Japanese officers.

He was also in 'The Prestige', in a bit of a cameo role, as a rich backer.
Almost thought I was imagining it to be him, until I read the credits. ~marilaine

The resemblance between Lucius and Jarred.. of course. I noticed that long time ago.
But I prefer Lucius.. (did I really have to say that? ha ha), nevertheless I have to admit that Labyrinth is still one of my favourite movies. (I love fairytales and magic, and I am a Bowie fan as well).

My head just went nuke.gif
Don't put two sexy blonde males, on the same page! People might have heart conditions! Both have lovely voices too...David sings better though. Although "Your eyes can be so cruel, just as I can be so cruel" suits Lucius a bit I think.

When it comes to singing - I prefer David (and yes, I'm a Bowie fan)

But Lucius cruel or not? In my opinion - not so cruel. More mislead in a way.
I like that character. ..what's not to love ;-)

I saw my Malfoy...crying hard as Malfoy could cry
what could I do?
My Malfoy's love had gone
And left my Malfoy blue
Nobody knew!
What kind of Magic Spell to use?
