RUMOUR: (about JI in Dr Who - Probably not true at all!!!)

Post by thunder » Wed Jun 23, 2010 11:01 am

There's this rumour I keep seeing about Jason going to be in the last episode of Dr Who this season.

http://planetgallifrey.blogspot.com/201 ... plash.html

Thought I should share just in case. I haven't seen this anywhere except on fan speculation sites/blogs. They just refer to a meeting between JI and some producers that could have been about anything.

Dr. Who is, how shall we say, an acquired taste. It's been on for 2.7 million years now, so obviously it has its fans.
I ain't one of 'em, but I'd rather sit through 10 episodes of Dr. Who than pretty well anything from Paul 'Worthless Shit' Anderscum . . . :-|

I'll watch if it's on, though the new Dr. doesn't really blow my skirt up.

Interesting rumor, none the less. I just hope that if it's true, he won't be buried under miles of makeup.

I was never a fan of the old-school Dr. Who, but have been watching it since the reboot a few years back with Christopher Eccleston. This would be really cool if it panned out. They do get big-named actors on the show. I'm just about to watch an episode with Bill Nighy on it. And they've had a few episodes so far with Alex Kingston, so I don't see why Jason wouldn't be able to, unless timing wouldn't work.

Can't stand Dr Who!! One of my friends is a mega super fan, Lord forbid you get her started, she can go all the way back to Tom Baker and talk all night. She has one of those huge cardboard standing things of David Tennant at the top of her stairs, the first time I encountered it I nearly fell back down them.

Tom Baker was the only Dr. Who I watched - very campy show. Mildy amusing - made early Star Trek special effects look magnificent!! A guest appearance would be interesting - I'd watch it for the jollies!

That's really saying something, Marie. The Star Trek effects (small budget) were whatever they could find in the dumpster behind Mission Impossible's special effects dept (huge budget).

Like many before have said, I've never seen an episode of DW, but I'll watch it with Jason . . . heavily made up or not.
