Ralph was killed by Michael Caffee, because he let Marty Trio be killed at the Thanksgiving meal
(the hit was actually for Freddie, who ran away)
MC wanted to not have any witnesses, so poor Ralph was strangled ....

Yep. The bullet was meant for Freddy, but Marty got it in the back of the head. Freddy was later arrested for jumping, and Ralph got fired for failing to guard the two men who were on furlough for the Thanksgiving Holidays.
Michael came by Ralph's to give him "financial compensation", and asked for ice water. When Ralph's back was turned, Michael strangulated him with a cord of some sort. Then, took the money he "brought for Ralph".

Saw The Speaker this week on Blue Bloods. He plays a Deputy Commissioner. Sounds like a recurring role. And yes, he looks the same. Hasn't changed.

I saw Jason Clark (Tommy Caffee) in Chcago Code on monday night and I was very disappointed. I love cop shows and this had gotten good write-ups. I just couldn't get into it. It didn't ring true and I was impatient for it to be over. I'll watch a couple more times and maybe it will grow on me.
This nay sound nasty but if Fox picked this up and passed on Pleading Guilty then PG must have been a real bummer.

I liked it and I'm not big into cop shows (which may be why I liked it as I have nothing to compare it to).
As for PG, maybe they figured a cop drama would be better than a court drama? IDK I think most of FOX shows are crap anymore so they just pass on good ones.

It was okay. WOW, Jason Clarke has dropped a LOT of weight. And, he combs his hair differently, imo. But, the accent still reminds me of his Caffee-dialect.

I watched the second week and my opinion still stands. Did not think much of it. Seems unreal. Will give it one more week and that's it.

I too just managed to catch
Chicago Code and was likewise left cold. Unlike Belladisordine, I do usually enjoy police procedurals but I thought this one was formulaic and unconvincing (totally off-topic, but I am currently hooked on
Southland, which I honestly think is the best thing I've seen on television in a long time).
Also, I think Jason Clarke is a very handsome man with a profile born to adorn the face of Roman Imperial coins, but with his high forehead and somewhat receding hairline, this new hairstyle makes him look like a troll doll.
