I'm going to Portugal tomorrow (Madeira... but will land in Lisbon to change flights), can bring some cold Norwegian summer weather, if that helps? And I'll leave it on the mainland, because I want to enjoy summer a bit. :D (Did that make sense?)

Thunder, you're coming to Madeira? Great, it's a paradise! Been there twice, myself. Never mention to the locals that you stopped in Portugal before landing in Madeira, because they get furious. Madeira is in Portugal, and we continentals sometimes slip our tongues inadvertently and get lashed by them. They keep reminding us that they are part of Portugal. We know that, of course, and we love them.

So you're going to land in Cristiano Ronaldo's Airport!!!! That makes us continentals laugh a lot, but not in a mean spirited way. Pay attention to his bust in the Airport, it's now a world attraction, gives a lot of mirth to flyers, looking rather funny ::rofl

Oh yes. please do bring a cubic meter of cold Norwegian Summer air and leave it at the Lisbon airport! Would be so welcome!
God, I'm already fearing the 'posterior' photos... If full frontal uniformed ones leave me in such a state... I wasn't expecting the black boots and trousers inside them... It's like looking at Prince Charming!

That is interesting. I had no idea one could copy write such a common phrase.
