He probably got annoyed because you guessed it right, and he wasn't prepared for it.

If fans weren't allowed to discuss the stories and speculate about the possible ways and directions the stories could take, there would be no fandoms. :yip

Exactly - if people don’t talk about it they don’t care about it!

Plus, if something is rankling us, we're going to analyze it . . . maybe to death.

Anyone not watching Jason in Star Trek Discovery is crazy. His work is phenomenal. Cough up the bucks and get CBS All Access or Netflicks (depending on your country). It is worth the money.

Yes, it's worth it! Even for me who wasn't very familiar with Star Trek from before... You're missing out on an amazing Jason-performance if you're not watching this. :hands

Is next week's the last one of this series? Because I foresee one of two things - either Lorca dies, or we get a cliff hanger where we don't know whether he's dead or not.

So Lorca is not all he seemed to be - he is a rebel. Does that make him a goodie or a baddie? Presumably a goodie if the Emperor is as bad as she has been painted.

I liked seeing Michelle Yeoh again in the mirror universe.

He is not a rebel like the Kligons, Vulcans etc. He just wants to be Emperor - in that universe it seems to be very normal behavior. I greatly fear that his will be a season one performance only. Although we don't know what happened to Prime Lorca.

I have to see more of mirror-Lorca to pass judgement. So far, he certainly doesn't seem worse than the rest of the mirror people, and we haven't heard his version of events yet. The preview for next episode promise some more of Lorca, maybe it will be clearer then. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5wLH5_12ow

And. Another theory from the Star Trek fandom proves correct: Lorca's from the mirror universe.

Thanks, Helen!

Thinking about the spoiler discussion we had earlier... or maybe not quite a discussion, but...

I think the reason fans are guessing right about story development now, is because: Since the internet, no one misses a clue anymore. After we've seen an episode, or a trailer or new promo stills etc, we go on the internet. And... speaking for my self now, there are always someone who noticed something I didn't... and then fans talk about it and figure things out. Foreshadowing is an important part of story telling, but in these internet days, a foreshadowing is really just a spoiler... :yip

Well said, thunder. It is the Internet's fault. You don't have to wait for conventions to find like-minded people to discuss theories. You can do it 24/7 now.
