I really enjoyed it. Jason as Odysseus was fantastic and always a pleasure to see him act in such close quarters.
Loved it.

Jason's performance was really good, and I have to credit WIllem Dafoe for his spectacular turn.

I thought it was interesting to see it again, and it was a bit different with new actors. It was really good. I looked after my parent's dog last night, so I had to leave after the reading, because Rambo didn't want to wait for his evening walk any longer. How was the talk afterwards?

I could not stay for the talk as I had hurt my back and could not sit any longer. They are usually great.

Re: Theatre of War: Philoctetes
By the way, one thing I have noticed about actors that it all seems to start from the gift of owning a great voice. Clear as a bell and also having the talent to be maliable enough to cope with multiple aspects of acting. Do you think that they had leaned the text or were reading. I could not make up my mind but either way the performances were amazing. To do all that with the issues of having to act online must be challanging. I cannot get over how these plays from over 2,000 years ago still seem so relevent. Antigone is my favourite though. By the way loved Jason's beard.

I'm guessing they have learned the script well, but they keep it there with them too. Jason wore reading glasses.
Sorry about your bad back, Annie.

Thank you.
Re: Theatre of War: Philoctetes
You could definitely see that they were looking down a lot, my guess was at a script. *I agree with thunder, they memorized the text, but had it there just in case.
Yeah. The glasses. Unfortunately, the circular light kept popping onto his glasses lens every now and then, giving him a spooked look.

Re: Theatre of War: Philoctetes
Jason didn't show up after reading his parts. The whole discussion was about post-war\military service PTSD. So I can see clearly why Jason or any other actors weren't involved.
They were all great
