When I clicked the link, it came up in French. :scratch I'm assuming it's being held in France and not in Northern California. :???:

Yes, it's France. In the middle of nowhere.
I'm still struggling if I'm going or not, to get there is quite difficult without a car :scratch

Ok, I had some sleep after the con, so I can write about it more coherently now. The venue itself was quite small, there wasn't many people there, I think around 2 thousands. There were moments, especially in Saturday that there was some crowded moments, but mostly it was quiet. Lot's of HP and SW stuff and vendors. They had nice "HP experience" which was exposition of few replicas like clothes, wands and other gadgets from HP set, some of them signed by different actors.
Colmar is a beautiful little town, worth seeing.
Jason looked absolutely dashing with his beard, nice jacket and a scarf. There were interviewes\q&a panels on both days. The guy who was running those was speaking and asking all the questions in French which seemed inconvenient for me, but gladly Jason answered in English for most of them. He seemed strangely snappy at the guy, so he was either tired or just simply angry for some reason, but judging from Jason's answers, the"interviewer" asked some ridiculous questions. Second day was far more calm and guy was better prepared, asking some good questions. Most of the stories, especially those connected to HP or other shows or movies we already know. I definitely prefer when Jason runs panels on his own.
I've seen him on autos and photos both days, and we had nice chat, and I have some really nice photos with the man.
I still need to get back home, and that would be a long trip, but it was sooooo worth it. :adore

Glad you got to go!! Conventions can be so much fun. I’ll be going to MEGACON in Orlando FL next month but small it is not. Not that Jason will be there (been awhile since he did a US convention!) But lots of celebrities will be there so it should be a grand time! I get to go for free (my husband has a Daleck and I am the assistant) but the hotel we are staying at costs a fortune!!

Jason mentioned something about Detroit to my friend, but he wasn't sure if he'd decide to go there yet. So you need to check conventions around Detroit (when&where it will be I have no idea though). He doesn't film anything at the moment, so probably has some time that could be spent on comic cons.

They were!

It's pity we can't post here any photos, because I took few during the panel as well, and haven't published them anywhere, since they were taken by phone, so not very sharp, like the proffesional ones.
