If I lived ANY closer to Charlottesville, I would SO be there in my silk gown and beplumed hat, holding a large sign. I have been reading through my Bartlett's Familiar Quotations, and find that Dr. Samuel Johnson might well have been acquainted with Shrub--I can't decide whether my sign would be emblazoned, "No, sir, do you read books through?"
or "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel"
or even, "Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information upon it."

Good thing you didn't. Dubyah would have hurt himself trying to read your sign -- I picture his lips moving, slowly, as he intently squints-- and you'd have been arrested for attempting to assassinate the President.

Can you imagine Dubyah and Jefferson trying to have a conversation? Yikes.
