Esqueeze me,Helen?.......I beg your pocketbook?

Marilaine, even those men who don't age gracefully, like the ones you mentioned, still have women falling over themselves to get at them. I believe money and power make those men desirable and have the ability to make some women look past the flaws, or gaping winkles.

Jason just keeps looking better and better! Marilaine, I'll have to try the new anti-aging treatment you suggested-cheaper than cosmetic surgery and much more fun! ;-)

Just finished watching the commentary and doesn't Jason look good?
It was worth it just to see him. I think his part in the commentary was bigger than in the movie. I can watch that part over and over. (I'm not a fan of Sci Fi)

You might be on to something, Marie. Wire it up, some fancy light-bulbs and voila: you've got yourself a mighty fancy chandelier.

I do wonder where he would have put that thing. I can't see it decorating the living room...

I have just completed watching this movie and I loved it. :D

I think the one issue that knocked the film and probably contributed to it's failure at the box office was the vision of the cannablism. I covered my eyes at that point but if they had just sugested it rather than show so much of those scenes it would have been perfect.

However I get that the symbolic references of the Spanish artist Goya specifically his works such as Saturn Devouring his Son (1819–1823) being a template for the more gory moments.

The acting was as usual ace. Jason was amazing and what a death scene DJ was given. Am I right from reading the previous posts that Jason wanted the dummy to keep!!. It would be a very unusual ornament!!!.

Reading a little about the production it seems that this is a case of the movie failing because people got nervous.

I found it atmospheric, scary, and oddly beautiful.

Jason looked so cool and loved the accent.

Enjoyed it a lot considering how scared I have been over the past weeks . :bag:

Looking forward to the extras are they any good. :hands

I have two DVDs with this. i think the "special edition" have very good extras.

Glad you liked it, Annie. I think this movie is very good, glad it got some attention in the later years, even if it didn't get as much when it came out. I think I remember reading somewhere that they were supposed to make the Soldier movie, but that Kurt Russel needed a year to buff up, so they made this in the meantime. I think this one is much better. :D
