Based on the popular and critically acclaimed novels by Kate Atkinson, this mini-series was shot on location in Edinburgh and was quickly followed by a second season.

I love her comment re: Jason:
"I'm not as attracted to Jackson as other people. Women really love him and now he's on TV they love Jason because Jason is incredibly attractive - so Jason's helped Jackson's profile no end. I think of him as a woman inside, because he's me with male accoutrements."

"..male accoutrements"?
Is that what they're calling them these days?
Congratulations to Kate.

"Private parts" or "Naughty bits": The Brits have sophisticated ways of referring to 'em.

Well, I wrote to her, and she very nicely wrote back, and DID mention "going into the second series" so it seems that something may already be in the works...ln

Excellent news! Although, how he's going to manage it is a mystery.

This season of CH will be only 2 episodes. That means 3 hours instead of 6 like last season... He's got time now. If they are going to make a second season of Awake they probably won't start untill June/July. And the girl playing Marlee tweeted a couple of weeks ago that she wish "her dad" would finish up his weork in LA and come home so they could "do some proper work". I think they'll start soon.

YEA! The best part is seeing him in 2 leading men roles (or does Michael Britten count as 2?) at the same time? G-d I hope NBC keeps the series going...ln
