So this sounds like it is straight to digital. Not in theaters. Weirdly worded announcement.

So, I wasn't having a brain freeze. Well. That's good.

In this case, misery does not love company. I don't want you finding fault with yourself. :finger:

The Premiere

OK. After a 2-hour drive, we arrived at the Pacifica Design Center at 2 pm, had lunch in the cafe downstairs, and then sat in the lobby. The theater lineup was on the 2nd floor . . . with no chairs anywhere on the HUGE floor. Every so often, DH went up to see if anyone was in line. At 4:30 he told me to come up. And there we stood. (argh). There was an area set up with Red Son posters for photographers to take pix of the celebs and later for interviewing them.

The waiting line was along one LOOOONG wall where about 150 people stood to get in. At 5:00 Jason walked in where the posters were. And. Of course. I was in the ladies room. Missed him.

About a half hour later, he came out escorted by the producer(?), and when they walked by the line, I stepped out, and Jason said, "You guys made it!!!" Then came the hug. The guy who was first in line looked a bit stunned after Jason walked on, and I said, "I told you I knew him!"

At 6:15, we showed our email tix and went in. As DH and I were first in, I went straight to the first row, center seat, knowing that Jason would be in the center seat on the stage. After the movie when Jason first came on stage, he asked, "Where should I sit?" I sat there waving my arms in parallel in front of me like the guy on the tarmac directing the plane into the gate. And that's where he sat.

You can't see us in the YouTube recording because of the angle the person recorded it from. In part 2, when Sasha Roiz is talking, you can see DH's head in the lower-left corner. The space next to him is me. The seats had high backs. I had prepared a question to ask Jason, but he'd already answered it in the first part of the session. Darn. And I couldn't come up with anything else to ask. Double Darn.

When it was over and the actors were leaving the stage, many people came up to take selfies with Jason and some of the other actors. Since DH had taken plenty of pix—and you can't take a selfie so easily with a camera—we left . . . for the long drive home. All in all . . . a good encounter.

Pictures coming soon . . .

Thanks, thunder.

At 53 seconds, from behind the poster, you can see the line starting to move toward the theater. DH is the third person and I'm right behind him in turquoise.

Two new interviews. The sound is really bad in both. A lot of background noise:

But it's Jason... :D

Edit: One more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cj1v6Gv8h5A Better sound in this one :D

Me too, Marie!

Thanks for the interviews, thunder. We could only see them from where we standing, so it's nice to actually hear what he said.
