I thought that was fantastic. Thought Ralph was far more shy than I expected. I have seen Coriolanus and it is brilliant. Jason seemed to be enjoying himself. Glad you enjoyed it Ant. Thank you for the link.

Were you there, Anniemouse?

I've only met Ralph on the second day during photo duo with our boy(he was too expensive for me to buy autograph as well, his price was ridiculous imho). nuke.gif
Don't blame him if he was shy, it was his first con, and for fans he was like a diamond pokemon card to catch. ::rofl (he never did con nor stage doors before)
He seemed relaxed at this point. I asked him for a hug, and he agreed and then I asked JI to sulk in the corner... so I ended up with a photo where I'm hugging Ralph and Jason stays on the side with a look of betrayal on his face. ::rofl
After the photo was done, he hugged me, making sure I'm still HIS groupie ::rofl
He laughed a lot at the photo, saying that was the only one funny of that day. :wheee

Panel as you can see was good. Thanks to Ralph we had some other stories, not only the same ones over and over again. (I'm already on a verge of puking while hearing about Dan&Richard Harris' quote of the day. Don't know how he can manage saying the same thing every time... :uhoh )

The convention was huge, massively packed with humans and some dogs.(20k or something) I imagine it can be scary experience for someone who's there for the first time (RF). Organization ridiculous if you ask me, with one way routes, and with 2 buildings it was constant walking in and out, circling around the buildings with really shitty weather outside and rude people at the doors.

Queues for autos were ridiculous, long, chaotic, unorganized, photos were all right for the headliners, not so much for the rest. The convention misscalculated Jason as a guest, so there were no time slots, people were showing up randomly, and they overbooked, since there was an option to buy everything on the day. The boy had 1 lunch break and had to stay after hours to sign things, so I didn't even talk to him on Saturday, because it was too busy to even come and say 'hello'.
Sunday was even worse. I was queuing 2h in the morning, to be told to get back to queue again (from scratch) since he was already gone to photos and they wanted to clear the space. At this point I made a riot with the staff there, standing up for all those people (me included) to find some solution so we wouldn't have to queue again. They gave us numbers finally, telling us to show up later with them, without queueing. :razzlite
I then had my photoshoot, and came back to the queue for my selfie. At this point it was obvious there's no time, and he was rushed to do things quickly, and the more he was pushed the more disorganized he's got, running like a chicken without a head. Not much time to chat. The selfie went blurry, so I had to go back to reshoot it. But wasn't queueing at this point anymore... Ufff. Kudos to Stephanie, really :hug

We get back with friends to the queue again because we were handing him a collage poster of our artistic group collaboration. Poor boy was in such chaos and autopilot mode that he wanted to sign his own present. We stopped him, telling him it's for him to take it home, not to sign. He seemed to like it a lot, asking which one of us did which part and I think that was the only moment he slowed down a bit, to talk and breathe. But then we had to go, so he hugged us goodbye and that was it. :hug
(if you want to see the poster, let me know I'll can send a photo)

I'm glad I had other photoshoots scheduled, because if I was there only for him, I'd be fuming and be very disappointed with the little time there.
Event in general was nice, but organization around Jason...ygh, terrible. It was too chaotic. Overbooked. No one was controlling how many tickets there're selling. He should be treated as a headliner, not a regular guest, maybe then some order would be established. And they really should include some 10 minutes breaks between activities for him. :shh :shh :shh

I'm happy, I've seen a part of Liverpool. Not much, because weather still shitty in the evenings, but want to come back there in summer or something to properly see the scouse land
:adore

*
Plus - while there, especially talking with locals, he instantly switched accent to his native and that was fun to listen. He just can't help it :adore

I just saw the video clips so unfortunately I was not there. It sounds like it was a chaotic day. Never knew Ralph had never done a con before. (I have the same birthday not birthdate as him) Poor Jason sounds like he was overwhelmed. I hope that you are ok. It sounds like it was so stressful.

Thanks for the video link, both Jason & Ralph were very good.

Thanks for the report, Antoni. It sounds like a shambles, and not a great experience for either man or the customers. At least you got your photos and gave Jason something to smile about. :D
