Jason Isaacs plays the lead doctor of a wellness centre, where a young executive is sent to retrieve his boss. No one seems to want to leave this wellness centre, and the young man (Dane DeHaan) discovers that nothing is like it seems at first sight.

YIKES!!! If the trailer scares the poop out of me . . . I shudder to think what watching the entire movie will do.
Also, it gives a very good case for wearing seatbelts.

Yeah, that reminded me of the recurrent scene from Awake...
There were several moments that evoked Event Horizon as well--those bodies floating in cylinders of liquid, for example.

So. Then. The cure for wellness is, um, . . . death? That would work . . . sorta.

That trailer is really creepy!
It will be interesting to see if Jason gets involved in the promotion for the film. It's so long since I read the info about the filming that I had forgotten it was directed by Gore Verbinski - so it should be high profile.

I'm not very brave with scary movies, but it's not that often JI is in a movie at my local cinema in a pretty large role... so I'll see it too.

I'll go see it for sure but Jason told us his character does some terrible things. His stories about the castle and some gentleman with a title (nobility) are a hoot!
I am more looking forward to the Netflix (or Amazon or one of the other cable companies - I forget) thing Jason is in. Was supposed to be on in December but I've not seen anything about it yet (or may be looking in the wrong places.)

I still think the Netflix series is some kind of a secret, but we should hear news about it soon. And I really hope keeping it a secret is a "thought through" marketing trick,
because it didn't really work with some other series he was in...

I sort of love horror films, really scary, not gory ones, but then when I watch one, I watch through my fingers. One of my tricks is to watch with the sound down; The Shining wasn't all that scary with the sound down.

I just tried that link, and it says Fox blocked it on copyright grounds.
