Interviews

Jason Isaacs plays the lead doctor of a wellness centre, where a young executive is sent to retrieve his boss. No one seems to want to leave this wellness centre, and the young man (Dane DeHaan) discovers that nothing is like it seems at first sight.

It opens here this weekend. I'll see if I can make someone come along with me...

Here are some interviews that I found today:
http://www.nbcsandiego.com/multimedia/I ... 28893.html

These two are quite good (written interviews). The Entertainment Weekly is really long and also a lot about other roles he's played in his career etc.:

Edit:
Another one: http://www.vulture.com/2017/02/jason-is ... re+Blog%29

I've got around 50 History tests to grade before tomorrow, so I need to get some work done... think this is the last one I'll post tonight.

I have to agree that the EW interview is very good - and there are 3 droolworthy photos in it too, of Tavington, Lucius - and Jason! :adore

Just opened my newspaper and wow Florida Today trashed A Cure for Wellness. Then they put a lovely picture of Jason (the only picture they used oddly enough) and did not say a thing about his performance or the other actor's performances. Basically they trashed Verbinski. "No 'Cure' for 'Wellness,' A Mess of a Movie. One and one half stars. For once I wish they had not used Jason's picture.

The LA Times didn't like it either. They didn't even mention Jason!!

No spoilers. Just my general thoughts on the movie.

Well. Dragged DH with me to see it. It wasn't as scary as the trailers showed. Maybe viewing them lessened the impact. It was very long. There were some squirmy (really uncomfortable) parts near the end.

Pus. One inexplicable thing that happens with water and a leg cast. Char can answer that one for us.

For 90% of the movie Jason looked great, and in 70% of it he made Volmar appear caring and good. The other 30%—the way we like him: silkily evil.

Waiting to hear from the rest of you when viewed.

Wow - I knew Fox News does some dodgy reporting but this really hits a new low. Just wish Trump & Putin would drink the water.

That would solve several big problems.

Wow is right. How did they think that was a good idea? They created fake websites too. Seems like they went to a lot of effort.

Maybe they were trying to establish that there really is fake news out there to further cause distrust of the media. :finger:
