I had to laugh at Richard Jobson talking about the Sexy Pistals as I spent many happy hours listening to his punk band The Skids in the late 1970's (into the Valley still rocks).

Annie, at 0:30, is the father wearing Free Mason's "regalia" while telling his kid he looks ridiculous? I'm looking forward to seeing this. I hope Jason has more to do in it.

I thought so. I saw the outfit in Dancing on the Edge, with Matthew Goode and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Good series, by the way. Well worth the watch about music, love and race relations in the 1930s (maybe 40s??).

Anniemouse, I too am a huge fan of "Into the Valley." Its only drawback is that I always feel compelled to sing along at the top of my lungs, but I can't make out any of the lyrics bar the title...
(Ewen Bremner also starred in Trainspotting, likewise directed by Danny Boyle and written by Irvine Welsh. He and JI previously costarred in Black Hawk Down. Sorry, I'm contractually obliged to point that out.)
