SC is FULL of elections!

Post by malfoygrandma » Tue May 25, 2010 11:35 am

 So today we voted on whether to put up a new county-wide batch of schools for which we must raise some 200 million dollars! The biggest problem here in our county is they do not believe in proper maintenance, so the building gets no repairs for some ten years, then has no working toilets, many broken windows, and roof is leaking, as has been the case in newly built schools. Very interesting situation. Then next week is the wild and wooly Tea Party Republicans in their Primary! The Tea Party lady who wants to replace our Loverboy Governor Sandord has just been accused of having a physically inappropriate affair with one of her political workers...... South Carolina is much more interesting that it used to be!

I don't know if it can compete with Florida.
But then we don't have a Governor with a girlfriend in Argentina. So I guess you win.

 I think when it comes to morality, it is "We lose" all around! But then I never voted for Mr. S. who belongs to a corrupt group of politicians who work for a powerful billionaire yankee so they say.... has never really belonged to the people of SC! A real loser! Hope we have seen the last of him!

Nah - he will probably be on Celebrity Apprentice. Isn't that where all fallen politicians go?

He was also on Celebrity Apprentice and was one of the first ones that the Donald fired. I just can't watch that show - Trump's hair just freaks me out.

Everything about that show freaks me out. I watched the original, noncelebrity one, for about 2 years, and Amarosa freaked me out, but they kept her on because she was so hated that ratings rose.

Sometimes, I really hate TV.

Oops. Sorry. I went too off topic—Argentina instead of the Appalachian Trail.

SC Reputlican Woman!

Post by malfoygrandma » Wed Jun 09, 2010 3:32 pm

 Well, the nasty idiots who tried to scuttle a woman who is trying to run for SC governor by spreading false rumors of having affairs with her, have lost and she will be in a runoff with another candidate to run for governor! Andre Baurer, now lieutenant gov, who wanted very much to be gov and whose two men workers tried spreading the false gossip about her, lost dismally in the primary! Wish I had one of those applauding emoticons....hooooooorrrrrraaaaahhhhhh for the lady!
