I am pleased for Ann Dowd that she has a potential major nomination but I have to say I am upset :rave that the movie, Jason, Fran and the others have been ignored.

Sorry that is just how I feel.

British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

They are our Oscars. So it looks like the lack of a proper movie screen release did not help in the UK. I was worried this might happen.

Be interesting to see if it does better at the US award circuit as it did get a modest cinema release.

😭 Not good news—TV or movie-wise—from the SAGs (Screen Actors Guild Awards; moms just came out):

It was a rhetorical question, Jason is British... a lot of the people on the list aren't. Not fair... :rave

Thanks for posting about SAG, Hot Wheels, even if it's bad news.

Thunder the Bafta's rewards global movies so many of the films and actors are overseas stars. There is a catagory for best UK movie and up and coming star.

Have a date of late January for the arrival of the Mass DVD. I am beyond excited at finally getting the chance to see this movie. I have been looking at the list of movies that have potential award nominations and am beyond disapointed that Mass has been overlooked. I am convinced that marketing seems to play a massive role in getting movies noticed. It does seem unfair that this jewel of a movie seems to slipped through the net. Maybe this will be a sleeper that will get more and more recognition in years to come.

Now THAT'S the kind of praise and recognition that Mass and the actors and Franz should be getting. :furthermore

By the way the mnovie made number 40 in our cinema charts causing a lot of annoyance from certain critics and viewers to the BBC who have seen it.
