It would be nice to know exactly how much time Sam has under her belt…and exactly what brought her to the attention of the Cleveland Clinic
(which is an actual location in Cleveland, Ohio, USA).
...nepotism...?
Now that I think about it, maybe Griff was the instigator of that, too??
Besides getting her out of his hair, maybe it’s his (twisted) way of telling her—without having to say the words—that he’s proud of her accomplishments and skills, and he wants to see her shine
(just not on him!)

Ratings are out for Week/Ep. 3.
The not-so-good news is that the show lost another 30,000 viewers (down from 2.43 million, to 2.40 million).
The slightly hopeful news is that viewership in the 18-49 age range returned to Week 1 levels.

AND. The loss of 30,000 is far fewer than last week's 300,000. It's something, at least.

That, too!
Now that the “bleeding” has “slowed”, let’s get this turned in the right direction!!

Is it harder to get a show bedded in on the tv these days?. I know shows like Chears and Mash all had low audiences and grew to be classics.
So many UK shows were slow burners (remember we have very short runs). Fawlty Towers, Black Adder, Only Fools and Horses and Red Dwarf all had very hard starts and FT was a flop on its initial run and hated by the critics. I think The Office gained from word of mouth.

We have to hope that CBS doesn't give up on it should the ratings keep declining. Hopefully, the numbers of defectors will continue to decrease each week and turn around towards the positive direction.

Much of whether it stays is how expensive (or not) it is to produce!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but . . .

Good Sam should be between
Good Omens and
Grantchester.
I hope this is just speculation on their part. I'll wait for CBS to announce it—one way or another.

I'll confess that I won't be very upset if this doesn't get a new season.

It's not the greatest show, but it has its moments . . . mostly with Jason on the screen.

Well, numbers were better for Ep. 4.
While the 18-49 group held steady at .3, viewership was up
nearly 10% (from 2.4 million, up to 2.63 million) over Ep. 3…not as many as the Pilot (2.72 million), but still on the way up….

It looks like it has stabilized a bit. Maybe we get to see the whole season, then...
